Freedom Seekers examines the Black Seminoles’ history and current issues while also providing a forecast for the future from a regional perspective. In doing so, the relationship between them and their Seminole Native American counterparts will be discussed under the guise of the aforementioned. The documentary has four main objectives:

To enlighten the public to the Black Seminoles.
To assist the Black Seminoles in developing solutions to their current issues.
To provide a groundwork for Native American Seminoles and Black Seminoles in understanding ways for mutual cooperation in the future.
To provide enlightenment to the relationship between Native Americans and
Black tribal members concerning both the past and present.
To enlighten the public to the Black Seminoles.
To assist the Black Seminoles in developing solutions to their current issues.
